Emma Wadie Hobson is a Local Economic Development (LED) Specialist with ten years' experience in international development and an MSc in LED (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics. As consultant to the World Bank, European Union, United Nations and international Non Governmental Organizations, Emma has carried out fieldwork in Africa, South Asia, South East Europe and the Middle East gaining extensive practical experience in the promotion of local economic development and the design and implementation of research and investment projects. She is fluent in written and spoken Portuguese, Arabic and English and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish.
