Mr. John J. Morris Jr. is UNCDF’s Programme Specialist in Sierra Leone. He heads UNCDF’s Local Economic Development and Inclusive Finance Programs. He runs UNCDF’s affairs at the country level and assures on a day-to-day basis the management of UNCDF matters in Sierra Leone. Prior to joining UNCDF, he worked as Programme Officer with the Inclusive Finance Programme in Liberia-a joint UNCDF and UNDP initiative for two years (2006-2009). He holds a MSc. in International Economic Development from Eastern University in the USA, an MBA from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and a BA from the University of Ghana.
