Microsoft launches ‘Build Your Business’ training course for entrepreneurs and SMEs in Kenya

Microsoft announced today the launch of a curriculum for micro and small businesses in Kenya, to help promote skills training and create new businesses across the country. Build Your Business will help entrepreneurs leverage productivity and technology tools to grow their businesses. The curriculum is free to access and it will be available in English, Arabic and French in the coming months. It will not only be available in Kenya but will also roll out across Morocco, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal, Mauritius, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and South Africa.

The curriculum draws on best practice training content and approaches and was developed with partners, which included the International Youth Foundation, a youth development charity; the University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa; Enablis, a Canadian-based not-for-profit organisation; and Manpower, a workforce solutions and services provider.
