Enterprise Development through Value Chains and Business Service Markets

This is the first announcement of ILOs Blended course with a face to face option developed by the ITC ILO and Mary McVay: Enterprise Development through Value Chains and Business Service Markets: A Market Development approach to Pro-Poor Growth 

The course is highly relevant for professionals developing and implementing Value Chain and enterprise development projects in rural and urban areas. It offers a unique on-the-job learning opportunity using practical tools and lessons from enterprise development programs that have reached thousands of small enterprises in rural and urban areas.

Participants select a work challenge as an assignment during the course and get support from international experts that act as on-line tutors. The final output of the course is a Market Development Implementation Project designed by the participant. The course is offered in optional modules to match your learning and scheduling needs. A mid-course optional one or two weeks face-to-face workshop enable participants to meet and strengthen networks among them and the international trainers, better adapt the learning to their target group and get an update on latest developments.

Single Module:  550 Euros

Full Course Distance: 4 modules distance course:  2000 Euros

Full Course Premium 1 : Including Full distance Course and one week Face-to-Face workshop,(fees, full board, lodging and insurance) From 18/06/2012 to 22/06/2012 or 25/06/2012 to 29/06/2012:  3900 Euros

Full Course Premium 2 : Including Full distance Course and two weeks Face-to-Face workshop,(fees, full board, lodging and insurance) From 18/06/2012 to 29/06/2012:  5000 Euros. 

The Face to Face workshop will take place as part of the Summer Academy on Enterprise Development (www.itcilo.org/emld) 

Partial fellowships ( 50%) will be available for developing countries participants (only for full course Distance and Premium options).
