Transition from Humanitarian Assistance to Sustainable Development
This One UN Pilot Program is one of the most recent LED interventions in Tanzania. It has a ‘cluster’ devoted to supporting regional and local governments to develop capacity in LED processes. Business Environment Strengthening Tanzania
At national level the government in 2002 launched the Business Environment Strengthening Tanzania (BEST), which seeks to reduce the burden on businesses by eradicating as many procedural and administrative barriers as possible. BEST is targeting businesses in general and micro-, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs) in particular.
