This paper provides the rationale for forming this knowledge hub and social network. It was a paper presented to the Africities Congress in November 2006. The recommendations were strongly supported by between 300 and 400 high level representatives from local governments across Africa.

Currently the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre provides support in Northern Sudan. We may get involved in Southern Sudan too.
